Origin

Hydrogenated castor oil is produced by hydrogenating natural castor oil--extracted from Ricinus communis seeds--converting unsaturated fatty acids into saturated forms. This process yields a stable, solid wax-like substance appearing as white to pale yellow powder, flakes, or blocks.
