• Composition & Physical Properties: Sodium polyacrylate powder with molecular structure formula "CH2CHCOONa" n. Slowly soluble in water, forming colorless viscous transparent liquid; 0.5% solution viscosity ≈ 1000 cps.
• Viscosity Mechanism: High viscosity from anionic group-induced chain extension (not water absorption). 15-20× higher viscosity than CMC/sodium alginate at equal concentrations. Stable under heat, neutral salts, and organic acids; viscosity increases in alkaline conditions with long-term stability.
• Stability & Solubility: Resists decomposition at 300°C and rancidity.
