TEA TREE FLORA WATER is derived from Melaleuca alternifolia, commonly known as Australian tea tree, which belongs to the Myrtaceae family.

Origin

This evergreen small tree grows 10-15 meters tall with distinctive features:

Bark: Gray-white with knotty, twisted trunk
Leaves: Alternate, lance-shaped (3-4 cm long)
Flowers: Cylindrical spike-like inflorescences blooming in March-April
Fruit: Sessile capsules (1-2 mm in diameter)

Note: Distinct from the beverage tea plant (Camellia sinensis).
