Product name: Rose Damascena Flora water
First documented in Kashan, Persia (modern Isfahan Province, Iran). Introduced to Syria, then brought to Europe during the Crusades (attributed to Crusaders returning from Damascus, hence the name "Damask Rose"). Widely cultivated in France from the 14th century.

Chinese Cultivar: In 1984, the former Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation collaborated with the predecessor of Shaanxi Hengfang Rose Development Co. to introduce Bulgarian R. damascena, resulting in the cultivar 'Qin Wei No.1'. This established Weinan as the "Origin of Damask Rose in China".
Product Source: This hydrosol is produced using the 'Qin Wei No.1' cultivar (later renamed 'Damask No.1 Rose'), introduced and cultivated by the Hebei Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences in Hebei Province.
