Introduction

BAREANTE MAS is a white or pale yellow powder, purified and modified from natural lithium soapstone (montmorillonite). A 2% dosage can disperse in water to form a colorless or light blue transparent thixotropic gel.

The resulting gel is not limited by temperature and can disperse in cold and hot water. It has unique thixotropic, rheological, stability and suspension resistance properties. The BAREANTE MAS gel is not destroyed or decomposed by heating or mechanical shear, is not attacked by microorganisms, and does not deteriorate during long-term storage.

Its unique high thixotropic and rheological properties make it an excellent suspending and thickening agent when used in products.
