Features

BAREMUL-18 W/O Nonionic Composite Emulsifier is an advanced W/O emulsifier from Barel, renowned for its outstanding stability and compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic oils. Its structure minimizes the influence of polar hydroxyl groups, allowing the hydrophobic end to fully extend in the oil phase, ensuring the stability of W/O systems. Ideal for formulating W/O creams and lotions, even with challenging oils such as paraffin and plant oil triglycerides.

Usage and Dosage

2 to 4% in the oil phase.
Gradually mix the water phase with rapid stirring. After the water phase is fully added, homogenize to a particle size ≤1μm. If wax is present in the oil phase, maintain homogenization temperature below 30°C to prevent wax recrystallization.
Suitable for cold, cold-hot, or hot-hot processing methods.
