Born in the heart of the ancient Persian Khashan region (now Isfahan Province, Kashan, Iran), the Damask Rose (Rosa Damascena) has a storied history. It made its way to Europe through the Crusades, carried by the knights from Damascus to their homelands, earning its name "Damascus Rose" among Europeans. Cultivated widely in France since the 14th century, this rose has become synonymous with Bulgaria's premier rose variety and is recognized globally as a superior species.

In 1984, China's Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade, hand in hand with the forerunner of Shaanxi Hengfang Rose Development Co., Ltd., introduced the Bulgarian Damask Rose to China. This resulted in the birth of "Qinwei No.1", making Weinan the birthplace of the Damask Rose in China. Our product is derived from "Qinwei No.1", now known as "Damask No.1 Rose", cultivated and harvested in Hebei.
