Origins

Since 1984, China has made Weinan the Chinese birthplace of Damascus roses by introducing Bulgarian Damascus roses and cultivating "Qinwei No.1". In 1992, the first generation of rose oil extraction equipment developed independently produced "Weimei No.1" essential oil, which met international standards. Through continuous improvement, by 2000, "Damascus Rose No. 1" was successfully introduced in Hebei, with its essential oil now sold worldwide. The Damascus series roses conform to the ISO-9842 standard, with the light pink variety offering the best aroma.
